Grow With Me
Something inside me is yearning to be born.
As I approach octogenarian status, I’m not feeling old or used up. On the contrary, I feel more focused and more full of life than ever.
But a new chapter is opening alongside it.
For nearly forty years, my work has been in the treatment room — helping brains heal, adapt, and remember what they were always capable of. That work continues, in a smaller and more intentional way.
I’m calling it the Grandmother Revolution.
A season in life where the goal isn’t to slow down, but to hand down.
Here’s what I’m noticing:
- The world has more information than ever — and more loneliness than ever.
- Children are growing up connected to thousands of people online and starving for someone who truly knows them.
- Families are fragmented. Communities are thinner than they used to be.
- And many of the wisest people alive are wondering if they still have something to offer.
They do.
You do.
For generations, grandmothers held the fabric of communities together — not through credentials or platforms, but through presence.
Listening. Gathering. Remembering who people were when they forgot. The world needs that energy again. Not only from biological grandmothers. From anyone willing to step into the role of elder, encourager, and bridge-builder.
This is an invitation to become the heart of your community. One conversation. One circle. One child. One family at a time.
The details are still unfolding — but something beautiful is taking shape here. Stay close.
