Books Neural Therapy® (BNT®) represents decades of clinical work, observation, teaching and refinement by Dr. Phyllis Books. By enrolling, you are being invited to learn this work—and to become a responsible steward of what you learn.
Please read this agreement before registering. Your acceptance is required before payment.
1. What This Course Is—and Is Not
This Level 1 course is designed for anyone who wants to learn the foundational principles and techniques of Books Neural Therapy®. You do not need to be a healthcare professional to take the course.
Completion means that you have been trained in the BNT® Level 1 material taught in this course. It does not make you a certified BNT® practitioner, confer a professional license, or expand the legal scope of any license or credential you already hold.
2. How You May Describe Your Training
You may accurately say: “I have trained in Books Neural Therapy® Level 1 with Dr. Phyllis Books” or “I am trained in Books Neural Therapy® Level 1.”
You may not describe yourself as a “Certified BNT® Practitioner,” “BNT® Certified Practitioner,” “BNT® Instructor,” “BNT® Trainer,” or use similar language suggesting certification, endorsement or authorization that has not been separately granted in writing.
3. Using What You Learn
Level 1 introduces foundational neurological patterns, including survival patterns, retained or unintegrated primitive reflexes, memories and experiences held in the body, and other patterns that can interfere with the brain and body’s ability to organize effectively.
You may use what you learn for your own education and personal growth. If you use Level 1 techniques with another person, you agree to do so only when appropriate to your training, experience, legal scope and competence.
If you are not a licensed healthcare professional, this training does not authorize you to diagnose or treat disease, represent yourself as a healthcare provider, or perform procedures reserved by law for licensed professionals. When professional medical, psychological or other licensed care is appropriate, BNT® is not a substitute for that care.
4. Respect, Consent, & Confidentiality
BNT® is not something we do to people. We listen, test, observe and respect what the nervous system tells us.
You agree to obtain appropriate consent, explain what you are doing in understandable language, respect personal boundaries and honor another person’s right to stop at any time.
Personal information or experiences shared during class or practice are private. You may not photograph, record, post or share another participant’s personal information or experience without explicit permission.
5. Respect the BNT® Intellectual Property
Books Neural Therapy®, BNT®, its teaching materials, protocols, terminology, manuals, videos, illustrations and course materials are proprietary intellectual property.
Your enrollment gives you permission to learn and appropriately use the material taught to you. It does not give you permission to reproduce, teach, publish, sell, distribute, upload, copy, screen- record, photograph instructional materials, share course access, or create derivative training materials without written authorization.
6. Teaching BNT® Requires Separate Permission
Being trained in Level 1 does not authorize you to teach Books Neural Therapy®, conduct BNT® trainings, issue BNT® certificates, or represent yourself as an instructor or trainer of the method.
Permission to teach BNT® must be separately granted in writing by Dr. Phyllis Books or an authorized successor of Books Neural Therapy®.
7. No Guarantees
Human beings are wonderfully individual, and results vary. You agree not to promise or guarantee specific outcomes or make claims about BNT® beyond your training, experience or applicable professional standards.
8. The Spirit of the Work
BNT® is grounded in respect for the intelligence and individuality of the human nervous system. No two brains are alike. No two bodies are alike. And no two people need exactly the same thing. Please carry the work forward with curiosity, humility, respect and care.

By accepting this agreement, I acknowledge that I have read and understand it. I agree to represent my Level 1 training accurately, use what I learn responsibly and within appropriate boundaries, protect the privacy and well-being of others, and honor the intellectual property and teaching rights associated with Books Neural Therapy®.
